The occupant was anxious about the clearance and only some rooms could be reached. Their support worker needed the home made safe so other services could visit.
We agreed a plan room by room, started with routes to the doors and the kitchen, and checked everything with the occupant before it left the house. Items to keep were boxed and labelled.
Over three visits the home was made safe and usable again, with the occupant involved in every decision.
