Alnwick House Clearance ("we", "us") provides house clearance services in Northumberland. For any privacy question, contact us using the details on our contact page.

What we collect

When you send a quote request or contact form we collect the details you give us – usually your name, email address, phone number, postcode, the service you need and your message. If you leave a review, we collect your name, location, rating and review text.

Our website also records basic visit information – the page visited, the date and time, the referring website, your browser type and your IP address – to help us understand how the site is used and to protect it from spam and abuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

Our lawful bases are your consent, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, and our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business.

We do not sell your information. We only share it with people who help us run our business, such as our website host and email provider, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to two years unless they become customer records, which we keep for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes. Website visit logs are deleted after around 13 months. Messages caught by our spam filter are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

Our public website uses one small cookie to help stop automated spam on forms. It does not track you. The admin area uses a session cookie for staff who log in.
