These terms apply to clearance work booked with Alnwick House Clearance. Please read them before confirming a booking.
Quotes are free and based on the information, photos and access you give us. The quoted price is fixed for the work described. If more items or areas are added, or the job is materially different from what was described, we will agree any change with you before doing extra work.
By booking, you confirm that you own the contents or have the authority to instruct us to remove them – for example as the owner, executor, administrator, landlord following the correct process, or with the owner's permission.
Please remove, label or clearly tell us about anything you want to keep before work starts. We set aside personal documents, photographs and valuables we find, but we cannot be responsible for items not identified to us in advance.
You are responsible for giving us access at the agreed time and telling us about any parking restrictions, access problems or hazards at the property.
We do not remove asbestos, clinical waste, gas bottles or large quantities of chemicals unless agreed in writing in advance. Please tell us if you know or suspect these are present.
Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing. We do not ask for a deposit for standard domestic clearances.
Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move your booking.
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us straight away so we can put it right.
